Cornerstone Christian Academy Athletics is committed to developing student-athletes who pursue excellence, compete with character, and glorify God through sports.

About Cornerstone Christian Academy

Cornerstone Christian Academy opened in August 2023 and is a ministry of Cornerstone Chapel. The school began K-8 in 2023 and is adding one grade each year until we have our first senior class in 2027-28. Our athletic program began with middle school sports in our first year, offering basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, and volleyball. We have since added baseball, flag football, and track & field as high school sports and have plans to add additional programs in the coming years (softball, tennis, swimming, and more). 

CCA athletics is built on a Biblical foundation while also emphasizing the pursuit of excellence and reaching the highest level of individual and team performance. Athletes are expected to exercise their God-given talents to the best of their abilities, in both practice and competition, in order to bring glory to God.

CCA was previously a member of the NVIAC (Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference). In 2026, CCA left the NVIAC to become members of the VCAC (Virginia Christian Athletic Conference). Other VCAC members include:

CCA is also proud to be a member of VISAA (Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association) which allows varsity level teams and athletes to qualify for and compete in state tournaments and to be voted on to all-state teams.

Our Mission

The CCA Athletic Department’s mission is an extension of our school and church mission - to make Him known by practicing, training, and competing for God’s glory.
